đ©âđ« When a teacher gives you Kudos, you know teaching was always your calling!
I always find it so wholesome collaborating with Microsoft LEAP because teaching is where my heart is. While getting kudos is always nice, the real impact comes from seeing people’s faces light up as they discover something newâthat alone makes it all worth it.
Adding AI to educationâŠ.
This blog post will be briefâI originally wrote it as a recap, but honestly, the session itself was so wholesome that I donât have much to add.
The focus? Helping instructors use AI better.
To be honest, I walked away having learned more than I taught. All the session resources are available on GitHub. The session covered:
- Introduction to Prompt Engineering
- Multimodal Interactions
- Creating an End-to-End Lesson with AI
- How I Use AI as a Personal Tutor (more on that in another blog!).
“To teach is to learn twice.” â Joseph Joubert
One of my biggest takeaways? Leveraging AI outwardânot just for personal productivity, but as a tool to help, empower, and gift others. One of the instructors even created a beautiful book using image generation as a Christmas gift for a student. So wholesome!
The one thing about AIâŠwell, generative AI
Itâs often said, AI wonât replace you, but the person using AI will.
My take? Using AI as an additional toolset will set you apart.
Using AI to replace how you think? That might actually be detrimental.
For instance, I write my first draft completely on my own before bringing in AI as a proofreader. I donât rely on AI to write for meâinstead, I use it to enhance my process.
Okay, enough of my thoughts! Check out the section on Personal Tutor for more insights.
To more adventures! Learning more on AgentsâI will be back. đ
